What are the differences between the RealDoll magnetic and full head style faces?

The magnet type RealDoll faces are designed for quickly changing your dolls face to another magnet style face using our patented Face X system. In this design there is a seam between the face and the back of the head, which is not seen unless you remove the doll’s wig. The cap on the dolls head is made with lightweight foam to reduce weight. There are many different faces of this style to choose from, and they are all interchangeable. Changing faces is very easy, and fast, and does not require tools.

The full head style faces are permanently attached to their individual skulls, and as such are slightly more expensive. The main advantage of this design is that it allows our artists to be less constrained by the existing face X skull in size and shape, i.e. when we want to create a larger or smaller size head, or different bone structure. There is also no seam or separation between the face and the rest of the head, as it is all siliconee. As such they are slightly heavier that the magnetic faces. The full heads can be removed (or attached) with an allen style hex wrench.

You can have heads of both types for your RealDoll; Use the magnet type skull and cap set up for your face collection of that type, and also attach the full head types on when you like. The attachment points and hardware are the same on the body.
